FCCoG Response to COVID-19:
Our Church Service is still streaming live for those unable to attend. You can find more information on our Facebook and YouTube pages under ‘First Congregational Church of Greenville Michigan’.
Here are a few important highlights for our in-person services: Masks will be required to enter and we ask that you wear your mask throughout the service. We also ask that you sit in the unmarked pews and maintain a social distance of six feet. All doors are locked when the service begins. If you come late, please knock on the Cass Street entrance door and a Deacon can let you in. At this time we will not be having nursery or coffee hour. Our virtual worship services will continue to be posted on Facebook and YouTube, and this site. For more information or pastoral care please contact our Church Office at 616-754-3445 or by email at email@example.com. We are here for you! God Bless you all!
A Note from Our Parish Nurse:
COVID vaccine information:
- COVID vaccine clinic information: The Mid-Michigan District Health Department has decided not to host weekly clinics here at our church. They will instead, be holding large vaccination clinics at the Montcalm Community College Campus. They hope to host “pop up” clinics at our church in the spring and will give us as much notice as possible, for clinic dates.
- To sign up to receive the vaccine through the Health Department, please visit https//www.mmdhd.org. If you or someone you know does not have computer access or needs help registering, contact our Parish Nurse.
- Other places/locations to sign up for the vaccine: for Spectrum Health visit www.spectrumhealth.org and follow the directions to apply for an appointment or by calling 1(833) 755-0696. You can also call Meijer Pharmacy, Rite Aid Pharmacies (in Rockford, Cedar Springs, and Ionia) to get on their list.
Spectrum Health, Mercy Health and the Kent County Health Department have joined to do a large COVID vaccine clinic at DeVos Hall in downtown Grand Rapids. To request an appointment please go to the Spectrum Health website ( spectrumhealth.org) or call 833-755-0696 if you do not have computer access. If you have already signed up with Spectrum Health you are all set and should hear from them soon. If you know someone without computer access please share this information with them. We are still planning on having a clinic here at the church when our Health Department gets more vaccines, but I strongly suggest you register at the Spectrum site now to ensure you get a vaccine as soon as possible. If you have any questions please call Patrice at 616-894-7288.
