Candy has worked for the church for 25 years. She holds an Associates degree in Early Childhood Education and keeps her credentials in Early Childhood Education current through extensive training and extended certificate education programs.
Candy believes that children need to be moving with lots of hands on activities. “Children are being pushed and always rushed to do something. So our pace is slow, and flexible. Children engage in what we offer. They love coming to preschool, because they are not being pushed to do something. We get messy, have fun, and the children are ready to come back and do it again!”
Through various creative activities, Candy and her preschool helpers engage with each child personally to ensure they are well-prepared for the start of Kindergarten. Children are engaged in many activities throughout the day, and are always welcomed to participate in Sunday Worship service with their families.
