Peace – Prayer – Joy – Love

Mutual Ministry

So we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually we are members one of another. We have gifts that differ according to the grace given to us.   (Romans 12:4-6)

At First Congregational, we  believe every member of our church is a minister. While we support a pastor, the scope of those who do the ministry of the church is unlimited.

There are many ways to serve God and the community. If you are a member of the church, or would like to become a member, please reach out to Rev. Ian or call the office at 616-754-3445.

Pastor in Transition

Rev. Jason Dillingham joined the FCCoG family as our minister at the start of 2017, as he transitions to the Congregational Way. To set up an appointment to meet him please contact the church office at 616-754-3445. Or simply stop in and say hello.

Church Covenant

We are banded together as a Christian Church to maintain the
worship of God, to proclaim the gospel of Christ, to develop in people a
consciousness of their relations and duties to God and their fellow souls,
and to inspire them with love for truth, passion for righteousness, and
enthusiasm for service. To this end we pledge our loyalty to Christ and
covenant with each other to strive to express His spirit in our individual
and corporate life: to live together as Christian brethren, and to submit
ourselves to the government of this church, working, giving, praying for
its increase, its purity, its peace, and seeking in every way to make it a
power for the building up of the Kingdom of God.
